Royal Wedding Fever
I’ve never been very good at throwing parties. They stress me out. But I would like to get better at entertaining, and I think it’s a skill that I can learn. Especially with the help of the internet! So, I decided to do a princess party for the Royal Wedding. I invited a few moms and girls who are friends with my 3 year old daughter. We had a great time, and it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Here are some highlights:
Decorations were simple thanks to Design Editor. I just printed up a few things and hung them around to make it feel more festive. I kept the menu simple too – a light brunch of quiche, a berry salad, San Pellegrino drinks, and delicious bundt cakes from this bakery.
For favors I did freezer paper stencil shirts and made little bags using the graphic from Design Editor. The bags were filled with Hershey’s kisses and princess lip gloss. The pattern for the bags came from the Purl Bee. Each girl also got a Kate Middleton paper doll found here.
It turned out really great. Everyone had a lot of fun and I’m already starting to think about my next party!
